Agent Zero is a free AI assistant that does more than chat. It can open files, write documents, run programs and browse the web on a computer. Software like this is called an AI agent, which simply means an AI that takes actions instead of only answering questions. On 1 November 2026, Agent Zero version 2.15 changed how you decide what it is allowed to do. Instead of a single yes-or-no switch for each tool, you can now say yes or no to each individual action inside that tool: “read my files, yes; rewrite them, no.” It also tightened the rules on who can boss the agent around from Telegram and WhatsApp.
